EDITED TO ADD:

Due to COVID-19 implications on the F Class World Championships (originally scheduled for 2022 and now re-scheduled to 2023), the prestigious ‘Palma’ match (scheduled for March/April 2023) has been postponed to 2024.

Subsequently, the closing date for nominations for the Australian Palma Rifle Team has been extended and nominations must now be received by the close of business on 31 December, 2021.

Nominations – Australian Palma Rifle Team

It gives me great pleasure to be appointed as Captain of the Australian Rifle Team, by the National Rifle Association of Australia.  We are now calling for the below positions for the Australian Palma Rifle Team.

The team will be selected to contest the prestigious ‘Palma’ match at Bloemfontein, SA, in March /April 2023.

As previously promulgated a Management group has been selected consisting of the below:

The Palma Team will consist of; Captain, Manager and Main Coach, 4 x Target Coaches and 18 x Shooting members, including reserves.  The opportunity will exist, for members to compete in the Individual World Championships if they wish.

I now invite nominations from suitably qualified NRAA members for the positions of Shooters and Coaches for this team.
