Victoria Biathlon held its first weekend of training at its new home, Port Campbell Rifle Club, on the weekend of 13th and 14th November 2021. It was a great opportunity for BEA’s Victorian biathletes to train at the picturesque location of Port Campbell along the Great Ocean Road of Victoria’s southern coastline.
The athletes shot on paper targets, using balance boards and running drills to elevate heart rate and challenge themselves for accuracy and mat positioning.
During the weekend members of the Club and the local community took part in a C&T Biathlon session. Our thanks go to NRAA, VRA and Port Campbell Rifle Club for their welcoming of biathlon as part of NRAA and to Port Campbell for providing their Club as the home of biathlon for BEA’s Victorian based biathletes.
