The NRAA is pleased to announce the establishment of its first Match Rifle Committee.
The Committee will provide discipline-specific advice and support to the NRAA, with a focus on the continued growth and development of Match Rifle across Australia. Its formation represents an important step in ensuring Match Rifle has dedicated national representation and a structured pathway for the discipline to grow within the broader fullbore community.
The Committee members are:

Chris Halloran
The group brings together a broad range of experience across Match Rifle competition, club development, and national participation. Between them, the committee members represent a depth of knowledge that will be invaluable in shaping the future direction of the discipline at the national level.
The Committee will help identify priorities for the discipline, support participation and development, share successful approaches across the Match Rifle community, and contribute to planning for future national and international opportunities.
Match Rifle is one of the most technically demanding disciplines in fullbore rifle shooting, requiring shooters to engage targets at distances out to 1200 yards with no artificial rests. It has a strong tradition within Australian shooting and a passionate community of competitors who have long advocated for greater national recognition of the discipline.
The NRAA welcomes the committee members and looks forward to working closely with them in the months and years ahead.
