The Loxton Rifle Club 2-day Steel Gong Challenge was held on the 6th and 7th of November 2021 and ran very well, thanks to the help of many people pitching in.

There were 22 entries, unfortunately no interstaters were able to attend due to Covid border restrictions. Hopefully next year more will be able to come and join us for the 2022 events.

Shooting centrefire rifles at steel targets from nine different ranges up to 1200 yards in changing conditions certainly was a challenge to all participants, with a fun rimfire competition thrown in just to mix it up a bit.

Big thanks to all the volunteers helping make it a great fun event.

Big thank you to NRAA staff working with us in a new discipline that all NRAA members will be able to enjoy into the future.

Congratulations to all the stage winners and aggregate winners. We are very proud of Thomas “Thomo” Arnold, one of our juniors, winning the factory centrefire stages 1 and 3.

Please support our sponsors who so generously supported the event and the club:
