NRAA and Biathlon Australia have re-signed their Memorandum of Understanding which provides support for the target rifle activities of the Winter Olympic sport of biathlon. First signed in 2021, the renewal ensures biathletes across Australia have a pathway to develop their rifle skills and continues to connect NRAA and its State & Territory members to an Olympic sport.
NRAA Chair Steve Negus notes “NRAA and BA share a common culture of safety, commitment and the enjoyment of target shooting. NRAA looks forward to supporting and encouraging the young athletes of Biathlon Australia to develop their skills and knowledge of firearms safety at NRAA ‘s affiliated State & Territory Clubs across Australia.”
NRAA very much thanks its State & Territory members and their Clubs in NSW, ACT and VIC who are providing membership and training facilities to our biathlon members.
