The National Rifle Association of Australia (NRAA) is seeking nominations for the Selection Committee for the 2025–2027 term.
This committee is responsible for overseeing the transparent and merit-based selection of athletes and officials to represent Australia at international fullbore target rifle competitions. The work of this committee directly supports the NRAA’s high-performance objectives and commitment to fairness, consistency, and integrity.
Committee Term:
Appointed members will serve a term of up to two years, concluding July 2027.
Charter and Responsibilities:
The Selection Committee operates under an adopted Charter, which outlines its key responsibilities, including:
- Reviewing and assessing athlete and official nominations
- Recommending selections to the NRAA Board
- Ensuring consistency with selection criteria and national team requirements

Eligibility and Attributes:
Nominations are open to individuals with:
- Significant experience in fullbore shooting and/or national team selection processes
- Knowledge of SSRs and international competition structures
- An ability to apply consistent judgment and maintain confidentiality
- A willingness to declare any conflicts of interest
The committee will aim to reflect diversity in geography, experience, and gender (at least one female member, if practicable).

- A brief summary of their relevant shooting and selection experience
- Any qualifications or prior committee involvement
- A declaration of any known or potential conflicts of interest
- A short statement outlining their motivation to join
