NRAA has appointed James Varty to a casual Director vacancy.

Born and raised in Durban South Africa, James found interest in smallbore target rifle with the musketry team at Glenwood Boys High School competing provisionally and achieving blazer colours.

After immigrating to Sydney in 2012 he found the sport again with Mosman Neutral Bay Rifle Club and success again with several match medals and badges coming his way in recent years.

James has a background of deploying web services to a very large education department, and over 15 years of technical experience across various organisation structures and stakeholder types.

James will have a particular focus on reviewing and updating NRAA’s systems including website, membership, OPMP system and entry to events.
