2026 NRAA National Rifle Championships, Australia Match, and ICFRA Pairs and Individual Match
Dates: 12th October – 20th October 2026
The National Rifle Association of Australia (NRAA) invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals for the following positions at the 2026 National Rifle Championships and associated international matches:
Positions Available
- Range Officers (RO) (Role statement – click here)
- Applicants should hold State Level Range Officer accreditation or be willing to upgrade to State Level before the event.
- All Range Officers will report to Chief Range Officer, Mr Peter Hulett.
- Role involves ensuring safe, controlled, and efficient conduct of shooting in accordance with NRAA Standard Shooting Rules and Range Standing Orders.
- Electronic Target Operators – HEXTA (Role statement – click here)
- Applicants should be familiar with HEXTA electronic target systems.
- All ET Operators will report to Chief Electronic Target Operator, Mr Bob Cramp.
- Role involves setup, operation, monitoring, and basic fault management of HEXTA systems during competition.
Training and Assessment
All applicants will be assessed for competency. Additional training may be required and will be conducted during the QRA State Championships for successful candidates.
The role
These roles are paid roles, with lunch provided. To comply with WHS requirements all staff will be rotated through a roster system over the course of the nine days. You will be responsible for your own accommodation for the period of the competition. QRA has accommodation on site, I suggest booking early.
