Our NRAA Biathlon members are continuing with some great results from their 2023-24 Northern Hemisphere winter season – including Winter Youth Olympic Games and 2024 Biathlon World Championships qualifications.

A big congratulations to Darice Morton (ACT FBR) and Noah  Bradford (NSWRA) for their qualifications and selection to compete at the 2024 Biathlon World Championships being held in the Czech Republic. This will be Darcie’s 2nd World Championships and first time qualification for Noah Bradford. We wish both the very best of luck, especially in the Single Mixed Relay where Australia will be competing a team for the first time ever.

A big well done to the athletes who competed at the Winter Youth Olympic Games, including Samuel Johnson (ACT FBR) and Rosie Franzke (VRA) who were selected to compete for Cross Country skiing. With 8 NRAA athletes competing at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games and 2 at the 2024 IBU World Championships, our young biathlete members are moving up!
